<rkirsling>
what is the right way to deal with spam comments
18:50
<ljharb>
rkirsling: in this case it's a spam review, so there's basically nothing that can be done.
18:50
<ljharb>
in general we usually hide them as spam, and then also report them to github
18:50
<rkirsling>
ahh
18:50
<rkirsling>
yeah I reported to GH
18:51
<rkirsling>
but then wasn't sure whether that was the right way
18:51
<rkirsling>
out of curiosity, the review _message_ can't be hidden?
18:51
<ljharb>
if github deletes the user then i think the review disappears too, and if so that's the only way to get rid of a review
18:51
<ljharb>
correct
18:51
<rkirsling>
interesting
18:51
<ljharb>
we could edit the review comment text, but that's a step that's best to avoid unless it's like, blatantly offensive content or something

<rkirsling>
agreed
