For Helsinki I ended up buying all of the audio gear (except the cables, those I got from the university), because that was cheaper and more convenient than renting. Total cost was somewhere around EUR 1200. To make that work, I got a mixer board with 12 inputs and separate outputs for the in-room speakers and the sound card of the laptop connected to zoom.
