I kinda wanna try Mastodon but having to pick a server is making it difficult
You can migrate servers which will automatically migrate followers too. With that, I think choosing (and switching) servers are not as problematic.

btw, https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/run-your-own/#so-you-want-to-run-your-own-mastodon-server has a list of more server providers than just masto.host, if you want to choose your own domain

You can use a ReadableWritablePair which works with passThrough()
