| 16:15 | <jschoi> | Answering my own question from two days ago: I just found https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/8362, which would address rhashimoto/wa-sqlite#81 without requiring communication between workers’ tabs. Unfortunately the issue seems to have been initially coupled to web-extension use cases. But SQLite would be useful for shared workers and service workers for general web apps (particularly offline-first web apps) and not just web extensions, and, hopefully, service workers spawning workers will be explored more in the future. |
