mkwst: sec-metadata seems reasonable, but I wouldn't start out with all members from the get go
07:55
<annevk>
mkwst: well, that'll just delay it until we figured out the final shape of initiator I guess
07:56
<mkwst>
Initiator is interesting because it allows us to distinguish downloads. I don't remember any of the other initiators being interesting.
07:56
<mkwst>
But, I'm running to a meeting. Back in 30.
07:56
<annevk>
mkwst: it also seems a little weird to share initiator and destination with the server; as ideally they don't conneg on that
07:57
<annevk>
Downloads still needs to be sorted interoperability-wise

gsnedders, Domenic: Oh yeah, not planning to change that `for (let foo in …)` test in WPT for Servo, just want a pat in the back and be told "it will be ok". :P

ajeffrey_ got some good progress on the SM update front though, props to him.

<smaug____>
annevk: do you happen to know if https://w3c.github.io/webappsec-clear-site-data/ has got any proper review?
12:41
<mkwst>
smaug____: Dubious review at best. The guy who wrote it has weird ideas, and Chrome's the only implementing browser. I expect bugs to fall out when more folks are paying attention.
12:43
<ajeffrey_>
nox: thanks. Still blocked on [expletive deleted] Windows build, this time link errors in debugmozjs, sigh.
12:43
<ajeffrey_>
Oh well, different errors from last week, so that's progress.
12:44
<smaug____>
mkwst: hehe. Ok, not reviewed.
12:45
<mkwst>
Patches welcome!
12:51
<annevk>
smaug____: I reviewed it a bit, but there's a lot of work outstanding
12:51
<annevk>
smaug____: in particular with cleaning up how this integrates with all the various established things
12:51
<annevk>
smaug____: I think it had TAG review too
13:03
<smaug____>
mkwst: I assume Chrome isn't shipping it yet
13:07
<annevk>
smaug____: https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/msg/blink-dev/rXxzsXLuZEc/HM17-B75BQAJ suspect they are
13:18
<mkwst>
Since Chrome 61 (Augustish?). Google Photos is the only site I know of using it at scale, so we still have opportunity to shift things around a bit.

reads about portals...

<nox>
wanderview: Are you thinking with portals yet?

<wanderview>
I don't think so...
